Eid al-'assel, in arabo La festa del miele, prende il nome da una presunta festività islamico-marocchina in onore del Profeta. Elemento associato al Corano per le sue proprietà curative, il miele è invece spesso associato alla distruzione ovvero alla morte nella cultura e nella letteratura latinoamericana.

Eid al-'assel, from arab the honey fest, take his name from an marocan-islamic festivity in honour of the Profet. Normally is associated with the Qur’an for his curative property but it’s differently associated to the death in the southamerican culture and literature.
